will they?
Arsenal are going to finish what? 6th or 7th or thereabouts this season - next year they'll be better.

City, Liverpool (really bad season with bad luck), ManU and Chelsea are ahead of Arsenal - not sure if they'll catch any of those sides. Still, Arsenal should be at least the 5th best side next season.

Arsenal are in a real mess, owners who won't invest, a manager who is struggling after a promising start.

The only hope for the Arse is some very good young players, but in general they are going absolutely nowhere fast.

They'll likely finish 5th next season IMO - an improvement. Arteta is doing as best he can with the talent at hand.

Agree with your assessment of ownership - they simply aren't willing to invest enough to have a good chance at breaking into the top 4.

he did complain, if you watch the footage.
I don’t need to “watch the footage” because I watched the game live. He was embarrassed by himself.
You must be one of those people that see about 20 penalties every game. Football is a contact sport and physical imposition doesn’t necessarily mean fouling, it’s a range of technical gestures. No fair referee in the world would have ruled out that goal... thankfully.
But you’re allowed to disagree, of course!
you cant fully extend your arm and push someone out of the ball
Watch again. Cheers

you must need a pair of new glasses then mate. and learn the rules of the game, maybe

That’s what you should be telling yourself. In case you didn’t know, there was VAR on that game. If any of the VAR referees agreed with you, they would have intervened. But it must be good to live in an island

as i said, refs usually dont give offensive fouls but it seems to be a pattern with him and as such they'll start giving those fouls soon enough. in case you dont know, refs scout players too :)

... except it’s not an offensive foul, dear

Seriously. I rewatched it five times to be fair to you. He doesn’t even use his arm. It’s shoulder vs shoulder. 100% clean

well, it clearly is cause you cant just push off players to the ground. Specially the Dias one, its a clear offensive foul
The issue here is that we’re both seeing different things and having a different understanding of what contact plays in football, so it’s not worth keeping this discussion going

the replay is not a good one cause it only focuses in the end of the play and even then you can clearly see haalands left arm follow through on the back of the guy. Now, as i said, usually refs dont blow the whistle on those but if you go by the rules, thats a foul. The dias one is more blatant though, cause theres a full arm extension pushing ruben to the ground.

Like, if you think Haaland is stronger than upamecano and dias...ok.

This makes me seriously wonder if you’re trolling me. The replan isn’t just that angle OBVIOUSLY.

Because they shouldn’t

Both players battling physical imposition. That’s what football is

Seriously...
