It was good BECAUSE there were no away fans. The two singing ends could hear each other and joined together, making louder songs which sometimes spread.Good again tonight considering there were only a handful of away fans. 1st half was great. 2nd half not as good. Still decent. Great seeing and hearing the East stand corner. It's slowly getting back to what it used to be like. Desperately need some new chants though. Considering the ticket mess, it was a decent crowd. Not sure if it's psychological, but the safe standing barriers, and proper safe standing have definitely improved the atmosphere. And watching City again.

Honestly, at this point I actually don't know. It's frustrating, for me and the players and for Pep. All I do know is no one can blame ticket prices for tonight. And the system is new this year but it's been like this long before that system was implemented.I know.

All blocks were greyed out bar CBL3.

To be honest, I do know. We have 15k - 20k fans who come to league games and don't come to mid-week games, and maybe 5k - 10k fans who come to CL games, and split the difference and we are where we are.Honestly, at this point I actually don't know. It's frustrating, for me and the players and for Pep. All I do know is no one can blame ticket prices for tonight. And the system is new this year but it's been like this long before that system was implemented.
Exactly. So it's not the prices then. It's that fans don't want to come to these games.Because City fans still aren't arsed about the CL, especially in the group stages against Leipzig.
There will be 50,000+ against Southampton at PL ticket prices.

Mine was £12.50 I think. Bargain. It’s not the prices. It’s the apathy for the CL, the traffic, the lack of transport options in and out of the stadium and the ticketing issues. Add Covid to the mix and it’s going to mean lower attendances. It looked 45k ish there tonight Which isn’t that bad. Pep needs to focus on his job not on the crowd because it’s actually a slap in the face for those who did go. That's because I was in there tonight! I've also got a croaky voice.i think that’s harsh and depends where you are sat. My voice is near enough gone and in 119 thought it was decent.

I was at the game, I didn't see it as a slap in the face. I just get bored of some of the excuses, and people getting angry at Pep asking for fans to turn up. It's nowt to do with the cost of tickets, or transport, or covid, or the ticketing system, it's that a chunk of our support doesn't want to watch European football. Well exactly. Just don't know why we have to go through the mither pretending it has to do with ticket costs or ticketing systems or anything else. My Dad has a SC and doesn't come to mid-week games cos his wife will moan about it, and Pep's entitled to say he'd prefer he was there regardless.You know well City fans don't have much love or interest for the CL matches. My partner and Daughter don't come to the CL matches, but they would never miss a PL match. That's their choice. I go to the CL matches.
