Etihad Atmosphere - 2022/23

It was exactly like that at Leicester in the Community Shield.

We had a group of fans who sang almost all game but sang a load of songs that most of the City end didn’t know or want to join in with (a lot of our end were sat down n’alll); Liverpool sang less often but when they did their whole end knew every word to every chant and all joined in (and all of their end stood up).
Alot of our fans sit down compared to theirs because we've become a tourist attraction where the club sell tickets in travel packages.

We didn't sell all our tickets for the Charity shield until very late on, so don't blame the club, get a bit of knowledge before posting.
As for tourists , do you not think Liverpool were selling tickets to foreign supporters clubs, there were plenty of foreign accents at that game.
Before the game, around Leicester , City fans were prominent and singing loud, in the concourse they were singing, but City fans get to the seats late, I watched as the Liverpool end was full 15 minutes before the game, we ( City fans came in very late), some after the game started)
Your tourist attraction comment doesn't stack up.

We have no where near the level of tourists teams like Liverpool do. A lot of our match going support are long term blues.

You can’t compare are match goers with Liverpool at all. Suspect comment

Most of our fans aren’t that passionate any more. We’ve showed tremendous loyalty over the years and love the club but we aren’t very loud.

The game sold out on match day and the ticket prices were fairly reasonable. We are running out of excuses.

We could be more unified as a fan base and I can’t understand why everyone doesn’t join the OSC or 1894.

What rubbish about our fans not being “passionate”. Some games are bigger than others but that’s the same for all clubs. We make plenty of noise on the big occasions.

And some of us don’t need to join clubs to demonstrate our support. You’re one step away from the “this means more” scouse bullshit to be honest and you can fuck off with that. Most Liverpool fans I know are half-interested armchair plastics. Most blues I know love the club from the bottom of their hearts.
