Atmosphere is dictated by much more than the game. We all bring to the ground different bagga6. It may be a simple thing like who's sat next to me today, or complex matters. Anything can effect you, like global and regional moods, worries about our debit cards working should we ever get served at the stadium bar, apathy towards prices, the inconvenience of tramtime etc.
The problem is the Premier League and club push the level of hype so high. The atmosphere needs inspiring from within. 54000-away collective behaviours can mix and produce wonder or nerves or just be mesmerised by the sideways and backwards passing. And the weather. And library fines. Are the flowers in the garden happy? Or, you can have a gassy Asahi and f*** it all.
