Etihad Atmosphere - 2022/23

Can someone tell me what the words are to the Bernardo song? It’s sung so fast, I just can’t get it. I’ve got Bernardoooooooo, that’s it.
Bernardooo,
Silva!
Running down the wing,
Silva!
Makes us Blue Boys sing,
Silva!
We're all going to Istanbul...

Bernardooo...
Repeat

The songs played at full time yesterday were peculiar. Announced it was 3 in a row and then proceeded to play songs with free in the title. Free from desire, I want to break free etc.
I thought that myself, someone really didn’t think that through.

You are so right; Holyhead is fucking grim.

I've not been in decades but it was awful. Just a few pubs and when they shut the only place to go was the chippy where all the locals wanted to batter you ( No pun intended) A lot of the pubs once they heard you speak English they started speaking Welsh.

I am emotionally drained. Barely slept a wink with adrenaline. Think this is one day where the atmosphere wasn't just about within the game, but on the trams, in town, around the stadium, and in the concourses - it was wonderful imo. Capped by the glorious sunshine and the honours for a true club servant in Alex Williams. A proper Blue day that all of Greater Manchester felt and the country saw imo.

Celebratory though today was, it was a great example of why one end will makes things even better. For large parts of the game 3, sometimes even 4 different areas were singing/clapping different songs at the same time. Fair play to the family stand for pulling it altogether at some points with more popular chants which went round.

Great to hear a coach of little kids at the back of my block singing “woooaaoo we’re the boys in blue!” For ages at the end of the game. I liked the “City’s won three in a row” one which was simple enough to get going well in the second half. That one and “Istanbul we are coming” should be the dominant songs at Wembley IMO. If they are loud and clear on the telly over the next couple of away games hopefully they will be.

It's going to be epic under the roof in the North Stand. Whole place will be rocking then. There are lots of places in the ground, particularly this season, that seem up for singing and joining in. The family stand is a lot more atmospheric than used to be. Get a collective group to cheerlead and it will be buzzing.

One small thing which was odd yesterday was the coach turned up with no windows. You couldn't see any players at all. Ideal for Liverpool away but for a title celebration with our own fans?
