Whether its City related or not. Whether any revenues it generates count towards FFP are pretty much irrelevant. The fact is ADUG will have a say in the design and type of housing that is built in the area. From their perspective that has to be a good thing as its likely they will want good quality housing schemes in place. That suggests an extension of what's going on at New Islington currently. Also it could possibly generate additional housing that might accommodate any need to move people from the existing housing around the Stadium freeing up more development land for an extended Campus and a bigger leisure hub at Beswick/Grey Mare Lane. This will also probably act as a magnet to draw the City Centre towards the Campus and all the investment that goes with that. A fantastic opportunity for Manchester as a whole. Hope I get to see all of it as it sounds as though its going to be truly eye catching.
said they were looking at housing for 29-35 year old young professionals for renting.(with lots of disposable income to spend at the city club shop )

And buy season tickets etc, looks like both ends are needed sooner rather than later

The third paragraph from the end (and this is the only source I have read so unsure) seems to suggest ADUG THROUGH Manchester City have invested. Therefore I can only summised (based upon one report) that the profits go back through MCFC
Any income stream must be football related I think to count for FFP.
Not necessarily. Commercial revenue can be recognised for non-football activities that are carried on at or in close proximity to the ground or training complex.

Average property rents for Manchester (according to home.co.uk) currently stand at £863 cpm, so...

830 houses @ £863 pcm = £8.59m pa!

6,000 houses @ £863 pcm = £62.13m pa!

Meanwhile, over in Nyon...

KHR: "Fur fuckenzee saken Michel; vass ist du going to do about zis now?"
MP: "We are 'ow you say, fooked. Zee only alternateev is to admit we done like zee Eengleesh or zee Arahbs so we are banning zees types de futbol for life."

It's probably more than safe to say this is the area in question.

Some old Holt Town graphics/renders.

Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium Development and Collar Site (cont

I dont think its necessarily the same land although it could include some or all of that.

Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium Development and Collar Site (cont

Interestingly 'phase one' of the Manchester Life initiative as it is know is the only one for which they have land in place, 90 acres in total.

Other phases will no doubt follow once the land is bought or appropriated over the projects 10 year lifetime.

An aerial snapshot of the land in question? From Piccadilly Station to the new training academy.

According to the reports, the land has already been bought up.

Most of the available land is within the Holt Town proposal, bar Ancoats and New Islington.

Just been posted by Cherguevara on SSC.

Holt Town master plan has changed a lot since those days. These are the updated plans:

This is the new Holt Town boundary, taking in previously distinct development areas

This is proposed land use

This is building height

Lots of potential sites for ADUG in that area.

Going back to the aerial video recently posted.

The next thing is the Scousers will be claiming he is building these houses and paying people to live in them. (Because that's what he does with season tickets according to the RAWK loons.)

I saw that, they really are a bunch of imbeciles on there.

City: building social housing on a massive scale and regenerating huge swathes of Manchester.

Liverpool: buying up houses, neglecting them and leaving them empty in an attempt to run down the area so they can force out people who don't want to leave.

But Liverpool are doing things the right way.

Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium Development and Collar Site (cont

It's a good day to bury bad news.

No mention of this on Red Café.

In fact, no mention of the training academy either.

However, they have mentioned the stadium expansion and more empty seats. ;-)

But the burning question is still, when will Sheikh Mansour get bored?
