That bloody crane hasn't moved a muscle in more than a week!

Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium Development and Collar Site (cont

Was told it wasn't working today hence the temporary cranes on site as well. I think the open ness at that end will shock people vs Liverpool and the atmosphere will suffer.

Am hearing the works are quite a way behind programme!

5 months a City employee said on Twitter. Personally I'd open it at the end of the season ready for pre-season 2015/16. BAM were given an almost impossible task and credit to them for getting this much done IMO. Although any delays on the stadium will not be entertained due to revenues involved etc

Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium Development and Collar Site (cont

I am not talking about the delays on the training ground. They are well know. I am talking about the programme for the new stand.

And bam are loosing figures in excess of ten million on the training ground.

I've always wondered how any construction company could have priced the construction of the training academy properly, considering what possibilities lay ahead. Pricing a stadium expansion(and ab office block/apartment block) would have been childs play in comparison.

Construction projects of this type are notorious to price, but a very prestigious. And are worth tendering for if you get the costs right, and can deliver on time. Big If?
