I thought I read somewhere maybe on here that that reseach centre will be for all sports and have a facility to deal with ACL injuries so instead of players going to the states they go there and they pay us instead. Might be wrong though.

Its going to become a national/global centre of excellence and will be a great revenue generator.

Just imagine very PL player who gets injured and is treated there helps with our FFP ;-)
So Man Utd and Liverpool do their medicals at an institution linked to MCFC, rather than a private hospital? Absolutely not going to happen for very obvious reasons

They might not do medicals for new signings (though I see no reason why not) but they will use a world class facility for rehab'.

And, of course, we wouldn't dream of delaying the rehab at all

Or sending the invoice and cashing the cheque

Cash only as far as the Glazers are concerned!

Actually the club could use them to improve the atmosphere, come on city come on city all the way around the advertising, cheesy I know?????????

I'm pretty sure this will happen. Twickenham already have these and I've seen them used this way during England tests.

in regards to the level 2 signs they could be used the way they are used in the NFL or MLB during games... mainly plain, just showing the score, nothing to bold or over the top to distract players or draw attention away from the game... then pregame/HT/FT its just normal adverts...

MLB...

they seem to of taken a lot of influence from the american hospitality side too with the new "eleven" hospitality package, influenced by the Dallas Cowboys who walk out of their changing room and then through one of the hospitality and then onto the field...

all good though and can see the club over the next few years creating a lot of firsts and things not seen in the PL before

Looking at jrb's pics on page 175 it looks like there's adverts on it during the tests so it will probably be adverts on match days too. The Screens will give scores etc..

Having said that I can see hanging flags over them not being too big a problem as the adverts go right around the stadium so it's not like you'd miss the message...

Or maybe I'm being too hopeful.

Someone who has a flag hung there should email the club and ask before the first home game...

yeah they'll definitely be used for adverts but I personally can't see them being used excessively during the game, (I missed JRBS post... off to read back)

I can't see the hanging of flags being a problem... apart from needing longer pieces of string
