Does anyone know the logic behind having the Blue pitch at CFA?

We're testing a new strain of blue grass ;o)

Great all weather astro surface for multi-sports use. Highly visible for a white football too.

Is this opposed green pitches, which have been notoriously difficult to play on for the last 125+ years.

The new roof, it's going up in one lift, hence the three cranes to lift it in tandem !

How can that work ?

If you`re lifting from outside the cranes it can`t be done !

Theres not enough room to fit the new roof between the cranes and the stadium.!

What about the support cables that are still in place ?
