Hmm, perhaps I'm misunderstanding you but the new screens are only on one side of the tunnel. The opposite side is still the same display of the fans names.blueparrot said:Pete B said:jrb said:is that really what the players see before going on to the pitch?
Seriously, as a club are we really that desperate for sponsorship money?
If that was over at the Theatre of Screams, we'd rightly be taking the piss.
During the day before the Liverpool game SSN did a piece on the improvements to the stadium. They started in the tunnel and the digital screens were showing a photo of five City players celebrating a goal. I hope that is what they see before taking to the field.
I'm sure on the tunnel cam,the screens showed the supporter names that were there before, that screen seemed to alternate with the nissan one on both sides of the tunnel
Only good looking lasses please.Rammyblues said:Fame awaits those who purchase those seats, will always be on the telly. :-)

Still can't work out exactly how the new 3 rows will sit in that?
What isn't clear and evident in the pictures is how high and steep the pitch is from the bottom of the trench/and the wall.
As for the digital advertising hoardings, they will have to be smaller in height, otherwise they will obscure the views of the match.
It will be interesting to see how CITY pull this one off.
Other pictures from the night to follow later on tonight.

Heard a rumor there going to lower the pitch by a meter or so (don't know how true this is) ?

Stadium looks superb. Scroll down the page for latest pictures.
Wouldn't mind getting them in the CL. If only for the trip.

Outside: Allianz Arena
Inside: Emirates
To be fair, they are two of the best stadiums that you could copy. Don't like Arsenal but they've nailed the stadium/exterior.
