Nah, City will probably re-open it as a City Supermarket, Lidl City 24 hr ! with a discount petrol station !

I very rarely visit this thread so I was wondering if anyone knew what City have in mind for that ASDA site?

Other things that *might* yet happen.

Some local housing bought up and residents offered alternative housing.

The kink in the road sorted to allow more space for the stadium.

Some/all of the industrial units near the Merc garage bought and land developed.

You can't expect serious responses to this Sam...

It'll be the new club shop when City Square closes to allow the Family stand to be extended.

I expect to see at least one more bridge or maybe a tunnel.

I heard a 18 months ago city wanted to build a hotel but asda didn't want to sell tho city did offer to build a new store elsewhere for them.

What a great idea 20 p a litre off to gold s/c holders 10p to cityzens and a special pump for rags that's marked diesel but despences petrol.I'm liking this plan

Genunilty don't know what we will do that that space. Remember reading something like a fairground or something like that a few years ago but doubt that will happen.
