Its something I said was going to happen only to be told I was talking shit by a few on here,. Hence the smiley.

I don't think that anyone with half a brain could've thought it was anything but a logical step. The whole site/campus is morphing into something spectacular....and spectacular "destinations" don't have a big ASDA Stuck in the middle of them. As you've said many times fbloke, this was always going to happen, it was when and not if.

I very rarely visit this thread so I was wondering if anyone knew what City have in mind for that ASDA site?

We're building a Tesco's.

We should be looking at a Fortnum and Mason's or, as a poor substitute, a Harrod's (the chav's F&M). Tesco? Pfft; that would lower the tone of the neighbourhood.


By the way; not all of us deep thinkers have left the building, you know?
