21st Dec is the Winter Solstice. The shortest day in the Northern Hemisphere, and therefore we can regard it as midwinters day

The sea is losing heat rapidly, hence the temperature slumps through February, one consolation, it starts coming lighter as you say.

No winter starts on that day.jan and feb are the coldest months.the yr is split into 4 .

The only scientific basis for the chronological start of the seasons is to use the solstice and equinox dates

New toilets being built in CB2 concourse, apparently where the ladies loos and refreshment stands are now are going to become 'mid level' corporate boxes.

Has made the concourse very narrow at one point, not sure it's a great idea - but FFP and all that.

the temperature has no bearing on the when the seasons kick in, the only reason its colder in Jan and Feb is that because the earth has cooled down, summer solstice and winter solstice are the midway points when the earth starts to tilt back, Marvin is correct here

That top tier is staring to look impressive, is the second tier going to get extended backwards as it looks like there will be quite a large gap to the new boxes that are going in.

There is more precast terracing to be installed at the front of what is currently in place. Can't be done until the current roof goes.

Did a quick update before the Swansea game. Will post the rest of the pictures on Monday night.

I think the word massive is quite apt for once. Imagine what it's going to look like with the exterior/cladding and roof in place.
