TBH I don't understand all the negativity about he corners. They aren't finished yet. And all the renders and videos show exactly how they will look when finished. As for the steel supports, most of them will be hidden by the large screens.

I took this when I was over at the Villa game;

Is that the finished shape of the corners? Have to be honest, it's not the prettiest thing I've seen. It has the appearance of a bodge job, which it obviously isn't.

Really can't understand all the negativity either, just look at the video/photos of the stand when it's completed, it looks fantastic and has real character. Remember that when the North Stand is also completed the ground will have all four corners looking the same and the roof will have a smooth flow again and both the new stands will give the ground a unique design which is better, in my humble opion, than the standard bowl design of nearly all moden stadia.

Shall we wait for the stand to be finished before slagging it off or shall we stare at some bare steel and incomplete work and claim it looks shit?

Everyone's entitled to an opinion but this reminds me of the spoilt little shit on Christmas day who strops around because Mummy bought them an Xbox One rather than a PS4....

Appreciate that we have investment.
It will look unique and nice when its complete, as in when the North Stand is also extended.

For those wondering, that pic actually shows a corner which is no where near finished. Claiming a piece of construction looks like a bodge job while incomplete is beyond ridiculous.

Will look like this when finished. How will we cope?

I'm really worried that after we win back to back titles, we'll be giving ammo to the Rag hoards with them shit corners.

"bertie magoo corners"

The club have made a massive error here..

The tragedy is, that's actually exactly the way that half of this forum think. The great thing is, that will probably be the only ammo United kids have by this time next year.

Any design, given the fact we are expanding rather than building a new stadium suggests to me that its been done with one eye on future expansion of the East and West stands as well and the final results will look different.

The long term plan is 'the biggest and best club in the world, in every aspect', so it must either be as you say or a whole 4th tier built around on a cantilever

Meanwhile I wonder if that old scaffolding from the Gene Kelly stand is available to fill in the corners?? :-)
