I wonder if the old cable net will cause obstructed views from the top of the new tier.

No the Cablenet is above the sight lines

The new seats pitchside in front of the East Stand, when do you think they will be released and at what price? Same or reduced?

Can't see them being reduced in all honesty, surely the same?.

For most of the front row seats no bugger is going to sit down anyway.

You can only have been flamed over the timeframe because the fact that it was designed with 4 sided expansion in mind is an absolute truth and described in some detail in the Planning Application supporting documents

I cant be bothered digging the posts out again.

Needless to say time has passed, context was warped etc etc.

I just wonder if the stadium will delay the non-stadium plans or vice versa?

Its clear on that video the cable net for the old roof will sit under the new roof.

Even clearer (with some markup) on one of JRB's photos - all those coloured lines STAY until we choose to do the sides too

From the planning app - very clear on this one the two tier stringing - the lower remaining to retain the existing roof cablenet integrity, the high one supporting the new roof

It will look a bit unsightly IMHO but i guess there is no other option unless we want the sides to fall in.

You might find it's a one sided expansion plan for a quite a long time !
