Judge those corners in 8 to 10 years time when we have a 76,000 capacity

26,000 lower tier
13,000 middle tier
37,000 one continuous upper tier

Look at the front row of the new stand - it ties in exactly with the line of the Colin bell upper tier. The design has been future proofed.

This is the key - ignore the corners.

I'd prefer at least a 77k capacity if not an 82k capacity.

As much as I like the etihad its never had the woe factor for me.just wish when its all done they could give the whole outside a futuristic look.there is an article in today's mirror showing a lot of the stadiums due to be bullt and although the etihad is only about 15 years in the making compared to the new designs it looks like its pre war
