It'd be nice if the area was a little smarter but, I go for the 90+ mins on the pitch and not to look at trees & flowers etc.

I really don't think the outside of the stadium is that bad. Maybe the floor could do with a lick of paint and maybe some of the plants need to be replaced but it's really not that bad.

But definitely worse. The only redevelopment that went on at Maine Road was the North Stand, but the comparison is a good one.

My first memories of Maine Road was when my Dad took me to the reserves in the late sixties and the amount of paper and rubbish under the Kippax and the old Platt Lane. It was a disaster waiting to happen what with all the old timber and the fact that alot of people smoked in them days.

The ground wasn't redeveloped for "small people" though.

There should be minimum standards for space at football grounds, Maine Road was always much better in that respect.

I’m sure those besmirched by the outside of the stadium/square will feel the opposite when we build the worlds best fan areas to make up for it. Certainly a price I’m happy to pay for now for what is coming soon enough.

All we need is a "Here we Go" Cmon city release the plans for the area
