Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Thread

City know exactly what the demand is for games and more importantly what supporters are willing to pay. They have the data from every game to evidence demand.

You mention £100 a match day ticket - there are loads being sold for far more than that at the moment disguised as semi corporate cause you get a bite to eat at the Academy or Vermillion or Goucho. The ticket element of these packages is miles over £100 - for a seat that can be anywhere.

I don’t imagine there will be many new season cards issued - if any.

They will want match day income to get much closer to the levels of Utd and Spurs and that’s impossible with so many seasoncard holders and then adding even more.
It’ll be interesting to see what the demand will be if we are 4/5th instead of 1st.

There’s a company here in spain that my mates son works for and they sell tickets for premier and la liga games and possibly for other leagues has well. And we are talking hundreds of euros. Asked the lad how much for an average game in the prem and he told me €600.00 for a not much important game and obviously a big game a lot more. So if I wanted to watch a derby it would be north of a grand. I asked where the tickets were coming from and he told me 3rd parties were involved. So take that what you think. Makes it worse for the match going fans but has always it’s the rich that benefit.

Well, yes and no. They forgot to install toilet facilities for the non-smokers up in SS3 ;-)

I'm also no Health and Safety expert but they should have done better than two double doors (one either end) to enter/exit. It gets pretty congested around those after the game, I'd hate to see what it would be like in case of an emergency if everyone had to get out quickly.
They seem to manage to get out okay when we won 1:6 over in Trafford

American stadiums inside are something else

What about this for a skin for the stadium

The owners of the American football clubs can build super stadiums because the average NFL match ticket prices are over $100. In some cases well over $100. The hospitality packages are astronomical. Which are snapped up by American companies, millionaires, and billionaires. It's a different ball game altogether.(excuse the pun)

The cheapest average NFL match ticket is $84.76 at the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The average attendances are big as well.

Most NFL teams play less than 10 home games a season.
