I enjoy a pre match negroni personally, each too their own ;-)No thanks. A few pints of Theakstons Old Peculiar at £2.19 a pint followed by a leisurely walk to the Colin Bell Stand at 14:50 is all I need. Well we can dream...
Big difference is that any hotel built as part of the potential stand development at the Etihad won’t just have a 25-30 home football matches - but also 5 or 6 outdoor gigs and 120 gigs at the Arena to cater for ( not to mention ladies matches and the other sporting facilities within a a few yards ). That’s 150-200 events even before they have any of the usual hotel functions and people using it for Manchester City Centre.Chelsea have 2 Hotels. Think 1 is part of the stadium, and the other Hotel is next to the stadium. From what I remember the Hotels haven't made a profit. Stand corrected on thay. Chelsea were going to demolish the Hotels as part of the proposed new stadium, which never happened.
