Didn’t say we are spending £300m on the Arena. That’s the estimated build cost.

We are equal partners in the development with Oak View Group.

Yep not so much city fans but so many twist it to city were a third division side in 97, not it was a one off.

Not directly relevant but wondering what’s going on with car parking and the seemingly increased traffic this season going out past ASDA and philips park anything to do with developments around the ground and is there anything that can be done ?

Some of the bigger private car parks up there were shut last week apparently and also travellers on the Velodrome site?

Velodrome parking was back open this week, some of the travellers had moved onto Asda. There were temporary traffic lights on the main road (Bank Bridge Road) for cars turning left after passing Phillips Park which backed it up more than usual.

I think they were hoping to keep people in there for 90 minutes but a lot were leaving 10 minutes early.

Like most construction workers they look at me and probably think, what are you taking a picture of, you sad....... :-)

TBF most construction workers don't mind and are OK. Especially when you have a chat with them first. I sometimes get a bit of general info off them.

Saying that, I've had some dickheads construction workers who have had go at me. I just smile at them knowing they can't do f*ck all as I'm taking the picture/s off site. And I've already taken the picture by then. I just walk away.

Just tell them you work for the local dole office and see who panics.
