The Coop Live Arena probably will be one of the best indoor arena’s in the world given a bit more time to iron out the remaining slight issues with it.

Queueing for ages to get in to see James on Friday. Similar for toilets and drinks fro the standing, bit of a joke given all that has been spent on it. Couldn't fault the sound though. It was epic. I know I'm biased being a blue and the city connection, but it's the best venue for a concert that I've ever been to. The ease of getting in and out, the sound, the layout. Superb. Only downside was the beer and food prices.
Queuing is a National institution in the UK, it was part of the design remit ;)Queueing for ages to get in to see James on Friday. Similar for toilets and drinks fro the standing, bit of a joke given all that has been spent on it. Couldn't fault the sound though.
There used to be a system in Paris for bus queues:Queuing is a National institution in the UK, it was part of the design remit ;)
It's not difficult is it ;)There used to be a system in Paris for bus queues:
1. Get a free numbered ticket from a machine on the bus stop.
2. Go for a drink.
3. Come back to the stop when ready.
4. Get on the bus, lowest number first, in ticket order.
Brilliant! Is it still in operation?

£552 for the cheapest ticket!Went on the Co-op site this morning to try to buy some Paul McCartney tickets…it was going well. Then I found out it was £552 for the cheapest tickets, best stall price is £1230 and dearest Circle is £11804!! Good job I wasn’t further up the queue!!View attachment 122881
Surely that was for resale tickets. I joined the queue at a similar number to yours, but left and joined the Sunday queue with approx 8K in the queue. Anyhow, decent seats for Sunday were £150. Still a lot but not too silly..Went on the Co-op site this morning to try to buy some Paul McCartney tickets…it was going well. Either McCartney is taking the piss or the Coop Live Arena are?The prices for concerts are getting ridiculous and out of control.
it is the business model
used to be tours were priced cheaply to promote/encourage record sales, where most money was made.
now downloads make fuck all money, so ticket prices are high as that's where most money is made.
don't you just love the digital age
