This is a bit sad, but.

Looking forward to seeing the planted trees.

This will be give a very good indicator of how the whole training campus will blend into the surrounding area.

I know what you mean, see how the asthetic look of the campus will actually start to look. Its amazing seeing how the Academy is developing, but its difficult to envision it in the grander scale and how it will fit in with the local environment with the cranes, buildingds going up etc. Things like the trees going up start to really show how the Academy will look and feel once the building is finished.

Can't wait to see the outside of our stadium look as good as the inside. The extra rows below the current pitch level will make a huge difference to the atmosphere. The outside looks relatively shit after just 10 years!! The cladding was is awful!!! We should note that this expansion is costing 90 million - almost the same as the cost of the original stadium!! Wow!!

Yes Wosleyweb, the inside and the arial view are stunning but the outside does not compare well to say Arsenal or even OT.

Just looks too concrete car park like.

How do you know the extension will have a substantial impact on how the rest of the outside looks though?

The Allianz arena looks class from the outside, would love the outside lit up blue before night games.

^^ Cheers GX.

Just spotted the QPR plans on t'internet (quite a fair bit of regeneration there by the looks of it):

QPR announce plans for new 40,000-seater stadium at Old Oak

Queens Park Rangers have unveiled plans for a new stadium in north-west London.

The proposed 40,000-seat building in Old Oak will replace the club's current Loftus Road ground, in Shepherds Bush.

The stadium will be part of a regeneration of the area, which is provisionally called New Queens Park.

"Loftus Road is - and always will be - a special place for the club and our supporters, but we need more than an 18,000 capacity," QPR chairman Tony Fernandes said....

Walk down from Ashton Old Road to the New Road and the trees are going in really fast, section of hedging in and it looks like the Campus will be invisible from Alan Turing Way.
