Came past tonight on my way home from work, around 23:20. Still lots of movement, lots of lights on and heavy machinery and vehicles moving.

Anyone in the bridge building business know how long it'll be before it is across the junction?

Let's hope it is a bit cheaper and is a bit faster than the last Bridge City had to finish!

Should be quicker than our years to get a league result at The Bridge (Stamford). Coat on, and walking.

The Council wanted the Commonwealeth games.
Manchester wanted the Commonwealeth games.
England wanted the Commonwealeth games.

How many arenas and stadia for Commonwealeth games and Olympic Stadiums fall into disrepair or have no proper legacy plan?

Manchester City needed a new ground.

Manchester Council and Manchester City had a mutual interest.
An agreement panned out for a club with very little in the bank, and a council looking for a legacy.

Socially, in football, regionally, nationally and beyond - we're bloody good tenants. Long may Manchester Council link it with its own club, Manchester City.
Without City's input the stadium would never have been built if we hadn't agreed to take it over a temporary stadium was going to be built .
