I hadn't realised this before but it looks like the original cable net ring stays suspend on its wires underneath the new roof whilst a second set of cable stays hold the new roof up above it...

Brilliant news, as supply and demand will ensure our ticket price increases halt or even decreases are on the cards.

Sensible pricing, will bring in new fans and MCFC will go viral.

So excited.

When you stop to think about it, it's all a bit nuts really.

I was watching Argentina play Ecuador the other day, and just started laughing when Kun and Zab came on to bolster the side. I mean, these two play for us; Kun is one of the top strikers in the world and he plays for us. Then you have Negredo who can't stop scoring for Spain, one of the best international sides out there, and he's playing in sunny Manchester for God's own.

To top it off, I find myself on this thread, chuckling in disbelief at the legacy that is unfolding in front of our eyes. Fucking beautiful.

The existing cable will stay in place when the new roof is put on and then the new cable attached to hold the roof from above. In theory, if the side stand were done in the same manner as per disco steves posts, would this then mean the original cable beneath the roof could be removed as the roof would then be held by all the new cables above the roof?

Last observation picture.... for those like me who are now sat in 911 Club Seats, here's how the space behind you is going to change.

Loss of Food and Bar and narrowing of concourse to be replaced by that big pink section labelled North East Sports Bar - one presumes through guarded doors to keep the riff-raff out...

Can't wait for Sheikh Mansour to get bored.....................................

On a serious note, how bloody good is this? It makes all the dark days of yesteryear seem worth it. We are without doubt the luckiest fans in football. Read it and weep raggies.

Given the positioning of the sports bar in the south/north stands it would appear likley the level 2 north/south stands may go the same way as east and Colin bell stand level 2 ?

expanded corporate facilities.

In fact, this is all far too positive for my liking!

I for one will be objecting in person at the planning meeting.

Bring back Pearce and I'll have Samaras back up front instead of that useless Argie whilst I am at it!

:-)
