JRB - did you get to see football focus today at 12? they did a decent piece on the CFA, didnt show many up to date clips of it, but actually showed a lot of this and painted a positive picture of the club. Thought they could of had you on to talk about the progress.

I didn't as I was in work this Morning, but I've recorded it. Will watch it Tomorrow. :-)

I half expected a montage of your pics with a Mark Lawrenson talk through. Any new ones to upload? i imagine quite a lot has changed in the last 3 or 4 weeks.

Walking up to the bridge, the bridge itself, and the bridge + works from the spiral.

Unfortunately the panoramic shot turned out blurred for some reason, but I've left it in.

I'm going to give it another 2 weeks for the training academy. Next home match. Hopefully the Weather will have improved by then?

Looking at how white that bridge is we should paint everything else around it (the roads, the stadium etc) white and buy a load of smoke machines and place them around the roads and make it looks heaven like.

Is Messi a religious fella does anyone know?

How the fuck can anyone walk over that bridge with the big gaps they've left in it ? !

l used to be in the Royal Engineers and we built better bridges than that eyesore ...

Maybe our "engineer" Manuel has been using his defensive blueprint on it AKA Demichellis :)

Anyone know who fabricated the bridge?

What!!?!
It's covered in fabric? Surely it will wear out quickly - or are they providing those slippers you get in posh hotels, to wear whilst you cross it?

CITY TO POCKET £6M-A-YEAR FROM BRIDGE NAMING RIGHTS

Manchester City are poised to bridge the Financial Fair Play gap to the tune of an extra £6m a year.

Manuel Pellegrini's side are already in deep discussions with a number of major companies to display their names and logos on a bridge as part of the City Football Academy development.

City are putting the finishing touches to their £150m state-of-the-art City Football Academy, which is situated across from the Etihad Stadium.

The Manchester club have also spent millions on a foot bridge that spans two major junctions and will connect the two sites, which will be used to illustrate the club's mission statement of creating a path from youth to first-team.

Platini needs to see this :D

you'd think the players would have enough on their plates this week with the derby and le Arse away without having to go balls deep in negotiations over sponsorship

Without stating the obvious, I can never understand why sponsorship figures are included in articles.

It's obvious they don't know the true figure, and the club nor sponsor will ever announce that figure either.

It's just pure guess work.

Given that most newspaper articles are made up - it's only right that Journo's make up some numbers to support their pack of lies....

If a sponsorship agreement is significant to a donor's bottom-line then they will have to disclose it to their shareholders, otherwise I think it's just speculation

Anyone know which company sawed, welded and assembled the steel for the bridge? ;-)

Hopefully not the cowboys who did the B of the Bang.
