You voted Yes to the European Economic community, not to the European Union which tells us what our human rights laws should be and interferes in our national life to an unnecessary degree.
On the whole the interference is for good IMO. If you'd prefer fewer rights go right ahead and vote to come out. If you want fewer jobs in this country, vote to come out. Too many people in this country are stuck in some Imperial time-warp, the world has moved on from the British Empire.

If you want to work longer hours, vote out. If you dont like walking on clean beaches, vote out, if you dont like lead free petrol, vote out. if you like paying more for mobile phone contracts, vote out.

etc etc etc.

If you're talking about the ECHR, that's got nothing to do with the EU. It's the Council of Europe that runs the ECHR.

incidentally the ECHR was mainly promoted by that well-known leftie Winston Churchill and is based on English Common Law.

How often do you see these signs when major infrastructure projects are being built? Do you really believe that a government obsessed with slashing public spending is going to make up the funding shortfall if we leave the EU?

@lancs blue, Dont forget the whole regeneration of Liverpool ( and Glasgow ) that stemmed from the EU Capitol of culture grant, 2 major cities in the UK that have gained massively from being part of the EU, and the economic booms of those 2 cities will have had a decent impact on the income of the country in general.

Good point, also the Metrolink in Manchester received part-funding from the ERDF.

200 yards of track into Exchange Square... who the hell can't walk from Victoria anyway?

all those 'benefits' quoted above re: beaches and phones, they're not going to be repealed are they? no.
of course you forget to mention 'Human Rights Act abuses' didn't you? and 'Wide open borders to anyone in EU' or 'Inability to pass our own laws' or 'Inability to support our own businesses because that's cheating and it must be a level playing field' (except it never can be, and despite the fact that the Germans and the French abuse this one daily)

why do you lefty tits keep saying this??? do you honestly believe that there are people that dont know this?? really?? then why the fuck keep saying it? its more likely that you are the ones stuck in a time warp, a 1970`s lefty timewarp, like the fuckers that run the eu.

Utter bollocks, the EU has not "Funded" anything, it has no money, it TAKES money off us and gives back SOME of it on things it chooses (We dont get to pick what OUR money is used for), if you think thats a good deal then I am more than willing to fully refurbish both your houses under the same rules ;0)
