Do the same thing with a 'Stay In' stall pack next Saturday and let us know how you get on.
No chance lol.

The people down here were quite engaging and did stop and speak. It was made quite easy for me as we had the local Labour Assembly Member, David Rees, campaigning opposite and he had Stephen Kinnock with him. My opening line was.... "hi, can I have a chat with you please? this isn't party political it's about Europe," once I had said that people did stop and talk. I accept there are and were people who did not want to engage.... pretty much like myself when I see people wanting to stop and talk to me in the street, but the majority did and, as I said earlier the breakdown of those that did showed massive support to leave.

Better than me doing a Remain campaign stall, why don't you or some of the other ardent inners like Ealingblue do it? It would be genuinely interesting.

Funnily enough I'd have to be pretty selective who Id talk to round here a few might look at me like I was a lunatic. More seriously the people round here who would vote remotely are nearly all successful ex pats working for multi nationals and most seem to be inners but few will vote.

Dunno where you get the idea i'm an 'ardent inner' from?

Anyways, i'm saying that if you clearly mark yourself as an outer with a big sign, t-shirts and badges then it's more likely that people stopping to chat already agree with you. The same applies for an 'inner' stall.

This seems to be the case with most people you ask. I'm certainly not going to infer that means there will be a definite out vote,
maybe the same sort are responding more vociferously than quiet inners, the general polls either show the in vote slightly ahead,
but a day or two later the opposite is true.

Sturgeon has been quoted as saying that the SNP will not call for a 2nd Scottish referendum until they're polling at least 60%. Such is the power of inertia late in the campaign. I don't think the Leave campaign are at that level.

Why, has worked his arse off for 50 years for the country more like, if he's a leech them there are tens of millions in the UK have made their money from far less worthy pursuits
.

Typical comment made without having a scoobie

It's written into former EU commissioners' pension contracts that they must promote and remain loyal to the EU in order to continue receiving their pension.

So the next time you hear him praising the EU it might be because he means it, but it could be because he stands to lose going on for £100,000 per year if he doesn't say it.

Don't know about it but I wouldn't respect someone much if they took a shilling from someone they hated. What would it say about someone who took the shilling and turned against their paymaster the second they could

EalingBlue2, I don't think even you believed you made any kind of point when you typed that!

I made a point to a non point, are you suggesting that he is only pro European because he fears for his pension. What sort of person would go and work and sell the EU if they weren't pro European and why on earth would anyone expect Kinnock in retirement not to be

Ealing, you've been relentless but I've watched as this thread has gradually crept up every week from 56% in favour of an exit, to what will soon be 59%.

And every week you're still banging the drum as it creeps up.

I must say, this amuses me greatly.

It amuses me greatly that you think this forum will have any effect

Sadly it's a win win or lose lose for me like most general elections are as Australia is one country that gains From a Brexit so half of my family gains even if my family in the north and Wales certainly loses.

Which is a bit like any general election as I have always voted and supported a party that is against my self interest if I were to put my own economic circumstances ahead of principle

I acknowledge it is not a vote in or out I will have to suffer the consequences of
