Where do you get that from?? For a start, our kids can get jobs in over twenty countries if they choose. They can go to Asia or America too, but not as easily. We are not just British, we are European. That's simply my point and i struggle when swp, prestwich and gelson don't get it.

Tony the data comes from here http://www.statista.com/statistics/266228/youth-unemployment-rate-in-eu-countries/ its terrifying, And to say your children have the choice of over 20 countries to go to is correct but those countries in the main don't have any jobs available. The facts are that the EU isn't working and the job prospects are far worse there than they are in the UK; mainly down to the fact that our economy hasn't been destroyed by the Euro. If we vote to remain it will be full steam ahead to ever greater union which clearly includes the UK ditching sterling and joining the Euro.

To be fair, Tony said last night he still thinks it's a mistake (with hindsight!) that we didn't join the euro.

Well we won' t be in them, I hadn't seen it before this morning but at the last pmq's cameron was asked whether there would be a second referendum and he said if we are out we are out of the lot, EU, council of europe and the rest. We will then re neotigated everything, so more than likely we will be like the naughty child sat in the corner.
What does that even mean?
If Brexit get anywhere near the top 40 percent in the vote but lose the referendum then it's just a matter of time. It will be bye bye Tory party at the next GE. We're leaving.

I wasn't talking about that, but we would have to negotiate to get into the Council of Europe in the unlikely event we were thrown out. Really?

Why wont we be in them?

The EU is a rules-based organisation bound by treaty and convention to negotiate in good faith.

Article 50 commits the EU to negotiate with any departing EU Member State

http://www.lisbon-treaty.org/wcm/th.../title-6-final-provisions/137-article-50.html

Article 8 commits the EU to a “good neighbourliness” policy “founded on the values of the Union and characterised by close and peaceful relations based on cooperation”.

http://www.lisbon-treaty.org/wcm/th...ts/title-1-common-provisions/6-article-8.html

And Article 3 affirms the EU’s commitment to promoting “free fair trade”

http://www.lisbon-treaty.org/wcm/th...ts/title-1-common-provisions/4-article-3.html

Last time I checked, coming 7th in a race doesn't win you the league title.
