It seems a little odd to question his grip on reality just because you've not understood his (valid) point.
The people with the highest points are at every game - they're not cherry picking, and thats why they're on the highest points. There are a few on over 22,000 so yeah, no one will ever catch them but why should they miss out after the effort/sacrifices they've made since the introduction of the points system.
If those on low points went to the unglamorous games often enough then they would work their way up overtime to be able to get to glamorous places like Stoke (I've never thought of it as glamorous myself). The reality is those on lower points can't be arsed any more than the middle rangers that are 'cherry picking', but then still feel entitled to demand that they should be able to go to a big game over someone else more deserving.
Thats bollocks.
