Totally agree.
But City don't care whether we're there or some Cockney/overseas glory hunters are instead.
Many of my mates and family members have been priced out by City and probably replaced with more affluent people (just look at the car parks before games to see the Jags and Mercs and BMs). City don't care about that and they won't care when me and you stop going neither they'll just up our SC prices and invite some chumps in to replace us.
Yes we are becoming the monster we scoffed at and most of us knew it would happen. It is a real catch 22. Without the takeover we would now be looking at 40+ years without a trophy and we have now won 5 in 8 years, with the Aguero moment probably the best ever memory for everyone. We are dining at the top table now and will be a major player in any new venture.
For me if this ever gets off the ground I will say thanks for the memories and watch park football in the flesh and catch the odd game on tv.I don't see it happening as the premier league is the richest and most exciting in the world. What this smacks of is leverage by the big clubs to take a bigger cut of the premier money, probably worried by the smaller clubs narrowing the field as Leicester and West Ham have done.
