European super league

What I would love to see is the Euro's replaced with a competition where the manager can pick any player that currently plays in their league rather than players of a certain nationality.

For all the problems with the Champions League, I agree with the prior poster to the effect that this functions fairly well in the "super league" role. I'd wonder if you'd see some sort of rupture between UEFA and some major club(s) being the impetus at some point for a breakaway league. Which would probably end up looking a lot like the current Champions League!

Uefa diluted the champions cup allowing teams finishing 6th entering and getting easy groups. I would prefer the champions league to be made up of two leagues and the top 2 from each group playing a semi final. Look how the history boys have got easy groups,Nearly ever week we play teams who play not to get beat and putting six men in defence, which is there choice as they cannot compete on financial or footballing terms. I cant stand Real , Bayern and Barcelona in the way they dominate Uefa, but at least we would see attacking football, yeah we would still get shafted,

We even went in knowing United, Liverpool and Arsenal were given positions in the Exec’s Leadership Team.

Even in the new Super League it was structured so the old UEFA Cartel held the power to make the decisions.

And look who the football dictator, sorry chairman, was going to be.

If the devil could cast his net….fucking hell what a shower !

Chelsea announced they were withdrawing first. City followed.

Also that looks a very formal table, and not made up on the spot. They did a table with twitter links, yeah right.

He acknowledges Chelsea withdrew first. He was highlighting United, Liverpool and Arsenal. It will be possible to find out which clubs made up the exec leadership team. It certainly wouldn’t have been City, as we apparently reluctantly agreed to join the Super League.

Chelsea announced they were pulling out first but City were the first to actually do it.
