Why can't they increase profits doing fan friendly things and maximising MCFC's revenue.
City Square, expand this concept so they can cater for more people, make the prices attractive enough to get people down there early.
Corporate Hospitality, again price accordingly so it sells out every game, I'm not going pay £150 for a Pie, Pint and comfy seat, make it £75 and I might take potential customers there, and we'd probably end up spending more on booze and extra anyway.
Get the catering and the bars right, get people in earlier, if it was £2/£2.50 a pint with quick efficient service they'd sell an awful lot more.
Expand capacity, price it right and sell out 60K each game.
Play the EDS games (when possible) at the weekend (Sat or Sun) and make it a couple of quid (or free) for season ticket holders or £5 for none season ticket holders. These would be good for the more casual fan who want to watch a reasonable level of football. I think this is what they'll be aiming for with the new training ground and little stadium anyway.
If they want to ring every penny out of fans, I hate to say it, but it needs to be out of the new tourist fans who will buy up the merchandise, pay for the stadium tour, pay for the "Kippax" corporate experience. But they can't do it at the expense of normal fans, they need to keep the strong local fanbase.
