City offered facilities for the NHS at the Etihad campus at the start of the pandemic and (as far as I am aware) have continued this since. I think it would be reasonable for City staff to be prioritised for vaccines in acknowledgement of this. Not having to regularly test staff would save resources. City's medical team could be trained to administer the vaccine in City's own medical facilities so the impact on the NHS would be minimal.

First and foremost wishing the affected players and staff a speedy recovery, fingers crossed they all get a mild reaction.

Just read that for the first time 40,000 new cases reported DAILY. As disappointed as I am about not seeing the boys in action tonight it pales into insignificance compared to the way this pandemic just keeps worsening. This is likely to be the thin end of the wedge.

I’ll certainly not be blaming any of our players.

Season should be suspended. There are things more important than football (and Sky/ BT/ Amazon being able to screen premiership games every day). I hope everyone recovers successfully from this horrible disease but it seems being fit young sportsmen and women is no guarantee that will happen. FFS the game at Arsenal in tier 4 should never have been allowed to go ahead. Just suspend the season until the players, officials and other staff have been able to take their turn to have the vaccine. The TV companies wanting games to screen does not make those involved in football " essential workers" so I reckon it should be Easter or later before the season should recommence, if at all !

If there is any substance to the rumours that London will be placed into a special T5 in the New Year as its running so out of control there then surely there can be no games in London and that it for now the game is up season postponed?

I'm amazed that more clubs haven't had outbreaks. There's so many possible contacts across the league(s) that even with lots of precautions, it's going to get in.

The amount of games in short time we will be playing after this is going to be insane..

And we will get no sympathy because we have a "bigger" squad. We could have 4 or 5 games in hand by the time we get to play again.

Sorry, probably came over a bit flippant, didn't mean it like that. It's a very dangerous disease that knocked me sideways but as a 61 year old with a few health issues (active though) I survived it ok, just trying to make the point that fit young un's of footballers ages will be generally ok, I really don't take this lightly.
