Everton (a) post-match thread

I don't know to be honest. I thought it looked like Rodri moved his arm out towards the ball. The only saving grace was that there were no Everton players around him, so it's hardly like it stopped them scoring or something.

My point is that we got away with one. On another day, with a different ref, they might have given that, and if the ref on Sat had given it, there's no way they'd overturn it!

But I'll also point out that there's no way we're favourably treated by refs. Compare us to Liverpool who get penalty after penalty for very little! It's the first time since Swansea in the FA cup that we've benefitted from a bad decision. We've probably had 20+ bad decisions against us in that time.
I agree mate, I was watching in my local and I said VAR would definitely give a penalty, was thinking when it wasn’t given dies Var ref Kavanagh from my home town Ashton have a soft spit for City, was then informed by Inter that he’s definitely a rag. Think we did get away with it but as I said before Kavanagh gave the green light for West Ham’s equaliser from a “handball”. There’s many refs/vars that would have given a penalty.

Is KDB this weeks 'whipping boy' then? If so please stop and think about the times when KDB has saved our bacon. OK, he may be going through a bit of a rough patch, although I wasn't there on Saturday I was at the last home matches and he seemed fine to me. The lads are all looking slightly jaded but as I always say a bad day at the office happens.

Please leave KDB alone. Thanks. :-)

I know there are bound to be differing opinions on a forum but to say Kev should be nowhere near the team is a bit much. IMHO........after all not everyone agrees with me that John Boy is the best but I will keep saying he is. :-)

first half didnt make good entertainment from the terraces, everton really battled with us and pressed, quicker to snatch the ball than we where. All made a first half of about 2 shits on target.

second half was better, we got the passes together and looked the most likely to score all the half.

dictated possesion, we had far more passes, we had more corners, we had more shots. But according to MOTD we got a stuffy given goal and ref was on our side with pen ( even though the whole game the ref was very pro Everton ) and everton deserved the game....... so full of shit.
Gets messy if they're not on target
