Everton (a) post-match thread

So we are asked to believe that the tee shirt mark is the cut off for handball.

Yesterday Lukaku was deemed offside against the red dippers and the line was drawn from his elbow to produce a line across the pitch to Robertson's foot (when it could clearly be seen that the Liverpool player was standing on the dark strip of grass and Lukaku on the lighter strip - thus clearly onside from the feet position),

Now if they are drawing the line from the elbow surely this implies that you can't score from the elbow down but you can score above the elbow. So by the same argument Rodri's wasn't handball coz it was above the elbow?
If this is the angle var reviewed; and deemed the point of contact, then the decision no penalty was correct under the existing guidelines.

they might of scored the penalty they might not but whats saying we wouldnt score again in time left highly unlikely the speed we was playing but you never know

Nothing, which is why it surprises me that people are sticking to it not being handball, rather than a mistake.

Perhaps Specsavers should start sponsoring the site. ;-)

Perhaps because they are entitled to an opinion and think differently to you. It's not about sticking to it as it matters not a jot now and wouldn't have mattered in the moment. They think by the letter of the law it wasn't justified; n giving a penalty. Thankfully the man on var thought the same.

Lets hope the horrible always the victim ( it must be summat in the water in that fuckin shithole of a place) scouse cunts get relegated, it would be sweet as fuck!
They should have been relegated many years ago when Hans Segers (I think) gifted them 3 goals after being 2-0 down. He actually dived over a penalty that he should have saved. Along with Grobbelar he was charged with match fixing but the case couldn’t be proved, no smoke without fire.
