Everton (a) post-match thread

We got away with one there

Very poor again performance (nothing wrong with the effort) wise. We look very unbalanced in midfield and we have seen at times that gundo and Rodri in midfield can do that.....but its also affected the performance of both cancello and Bernardo who were our best players for a good run of games

The penalty could have gone either way and its very hard to tell whether it was or wasnt from the angles.....what might have saved rodri is that to mee at least it looked like part of the ball got him on the chest area as well as the arm - but again different angles say different things.

KDB was noteably poor again returning to his early season form

Laporte needs to stop giving away needless freekicks by barging people in the bac when they are moving away from the goal - basics

Stones at fullback is fine but we defeintely lose something not having walker there.

Huge slice of luck with the goal but Foden did well to react so well.

Onto the derby and if we play like that we will give utd a chance and in reality they shouldnt get a look in (then again form goes out the window usually so lets hope thats true in our case as we need our form from the last two games out fo the window thats for sure!!)
Yep,Kev looking very mediocre lately.

Well done guys. The referee was on our side, rodri hand ball was penatly but who cares. Congrats for the 3 vital points

its offside and anything else after that is pointless ?
They reviewed it for handball not offside! Offside was after the incident. If they thought it was a handball during their review offside wouldn’t have saved us.
