A bit silly that. Obviously they have to train. But some players dont have to play.
you're right, i was being flippant.

but guardiola doesn't worry about what-if's.

what-if one of them gets injured!?
you could easily counter that with,
what-if none of them get injured?
it's all conjecture.

they are elite athletes at the peak of their season.
them sitting down won't help us win games.

Think they’ll be doing very light training now.Nothing like the intensity of games.

if you are only doing light training and you don't play twice a week,
the chances of you being injured during the sudden intensity of an actual game are increased.

they can have a rest in summer.

up the blues!

anyone else remember the f.a.cup game there in 1981?

getting off the special at lime street station was a nightmare.
the coppers forced us all to wait at the end of the platform against some sort of high fence,
on the other side of which were both everton and bindippers.
together, side by side, spitting through the fence at us.

then we were marched on foot to the ground, no buses.
one copper dismounted from his horse, took me to one side,
battered me & told me exactly what he thought of mancs.
i was 16 years old, but looked more like 14.

the scenes after power got the second equaliser made it all worthwhile.

Not sure Kev should be playing. He's started the last 2. If he plays against Everton and he will vs Madrid that will be 4 in a row. Too many.
Agreed our most important player along with Rodders, need to manage his game time. He should be rested possibly on the bench on Sunday.

Superb video. Mayhem in the away end and Powers celebration was brilliant. They were some of the best times to be a fan. Must’ve been fantastic to be there. Be interesting to hear other fan’s experiences that day.
