This Everton game being between the semi-final Madrid games is a nightmare for Pep, We all know what's going to happen and the match officials will offer no protection and let Everton kick us off the park, So with that in mind I can see Pep playing a 2nd team and saying let's have a rumble,

Don't be fooled, am not saying our 2nd team is not good enough to beat Everton away, it's full of world-class players and will play the same system, buts it's the Everton players being allowed to kick lumps out of the city players Pep can not gamble with,

Look we can wave the white flag if we wanted or play the youth because we have one game banked, But Pep hate's losing and rightly so, We have enough in the squad to face up to Everton and we can play the dirty game as well and match anybody at it,
 
Pep Guardiola: "Everton away being played on Sunday? I can't understand it, but I'm not going to fight it anymore..."

I hope he plays our best squad possible. Rodri, KDB, Dias, Silva, Grealish etc in.
2.5 days till Wednesday are not enough, but not that bad so we will try to figure out a way.

A draw would still be a good result in terms of the PL. Perhaps rest the "essential" players and put out a team good enough to at least get us 1 point.
 
Everton got to practice their formation and tactics against Brighton last week……

Make no mistake they will put 11 behind the ball and look for a quick counter and ball over the top….it will be a dull, drab affair.

Early goal is key to seeing these lot off.

From my point of view a draw (or loss of course) will be a DISASTER!
We need to WIN by all means!
If we win this then we need in the next 3 games 1 win and 2 draws or 2 wins. But also put pressure on Arsenal of another +4 so they might crack against Brighton.


So a win is the only result for us. Please do it!!
 
This seems like a great time to give Haaland and KDB a break, they should be able to put Everton away without them.

It's 3.5 days, to be fair. 2pm on Sunday til 8pm on Wednesday is 78 hours.
