Everton (H) | Post Match Thread

Just read through the player performance threads and apparently some are now blaming Rico for the draw?

Rico?

JFC.

A bit unlucky to draw.

We controlled the game - limiting their chances to a few shots. Unfortunately, one of their rare opportunities resulted in a wonder goal. This sort of thing happens though when we fail to score a second (or third) to put the match firmly out of reach of our opponents.

Too - the second half was probably the worst football I've watched in an incredibly long while. No flow to the game at all. First, there's a 10 minute (approximately) delay while one of the officials sorts out communication equipment. Then there's faux injuries. And numerous substitutions. And ticky-tacky fouls. Horrible!

The lack of flow in the second half, I think, really hurt us. We couldn't establish an attacking rhythm due to all the stop-starts. And we probably lost at least 5 to 10 minutes of play time due to this.

Webb has already said the bar has been raised for overturning onfield decisions (which means when the referee is told to look at the screen, it's even more likely to be a "clear and obvious" mistake).
This amounts to changing the rules mid season.
WTF is going on?
