Everton - Post match thread.

You sound like a rag..... every time we drop points it's the refs fault..... stupid of Kyle walker. Sane as wb is a no no he was terrible all game. We was shit regardless of the ref.
Go fuck yourself. Never a foul never mind a second yellow.

You're as blue as fucking Mars.

I really hope Mendy is fit for the next game. Sane is just not a LWB. It's not just he can't defend it's he's unwilling to. Several times they were breaking on us and he wasn't even in picture leaving the CB's having to mop up. Pep likes his little Frankenstein experiments and he really needs to cut them out.

When did we loose our luck?

If the ball hits the post, it goes back into field. If the opposite hits the post, it's in.

Sent off for nearly nothing. Opposite can allow everything.

Need 10 huge chances to score once, but the first error on our side is immediatey punished.

Really frustrating.

Sane was poor but he's played out of position. Hope his confidence hasn't taken a knock.

1st half wasn't good. The tempo needs upping.

Sterling and B Silva were the difference. Changed the game.

Meh, same as last season. Thought we were better towards the end but started poorly looked better when comps went to the left for a while but not convinced by the starting 11, the starting formation or the subs.
The season will be long and full of errors.

352 with Yaya - devastating.

352 without Yaya - disaster.

I don't know what it is that's caused Pep to drop him after he looked great there in preseason, but whatever it is, the system doesn't work properly without him.

Still early days, Pep will find his best team, and now atleast he has a plan B, Danilo looks quality, Sterling pops up with a goal just when needed.
Atleast we now have decent defenders and cover over most of the pitch, shame the referees haven't been improved though!
Good fight back against a dogged defence.

Are people in here really suggesting Walker was to blame? Neither were yellows and the second wasn't even a foul.

The officials have been bent for ages but now they aren't even trying to be subtle about it. It's open and overt, yet won't even be mentioned by a media all too happy to piss on City and detract from our accomplishments.

To be fair I thought we played better with 10 men. Not sure 11 would have improved us.

We played better after Pep's substitutions. Raz was amazing, it's true, but few here will note how massive an impact Danillo had too.

With an extra man there, particularly one as pacey as Walker, we'd have certainly had a better chance.
