Wise words. Someone should stick this up in the away dressing room on Saturday.

I am dreading this. If we beat Neverton, we will have to start worrying about Villa and if we beat Villa, we will have to start worrying about West Ham.

Everton is a different proposition, but against Villa and Wet Spam we just need to be true to ourselves and play like we've played all season.

The result will take care of itself if we do so.... the manager and players just need to back themselves.

If we can manage to win this then we will most likely win the league if we win the other two matches as well. Liverpool have scored 8 goals in their past 4 games, so i don't see them scoring 11+ goals in two games if we do in fact win our next games.

It's only Monday/Tuesday and I can't sleep all I think about is Everton away and hope. The boys will be massively up for this like they were yesterday against Palace. At Palace I feel we had another couple of gears to go through we'll need those gears on Saturday.

Hart

Zaba Kompany Demichelis Kolarov

Garcia

Fernandinho Yaya Nasri

Aguero Dzeko

All the best for next year lads
Fantastic season;
Football will indeed be dead
God bless

This weekend is going to make for a very interesting atmosphere at Goodison, while the players will definitely be giving it their all, the subdued atmosphere might just help push things in our favour, unless Osman is on the teamsheet, then we best become Palace fans for Monday night. I actually like that so much is being made of 'what will Everton do?' and the fact that we are a bloody good side has been left on the side. If our big boys bring their A game then we'll have too much regardless, and the focus on Everton instead of us might just stop us from being shite at Goodison just this once.

Even though a large proportion of Everton fans want to throw this game I unfortunately can't see Martinez adopting this kind of mentality. They'll be playing for pride more than anything (and the cursed Europa league - let's not forget that!) so their players will be up for it. Then again we're in a prime position here to take the gold and I fully expect a professional performance from the lads next Saturday, hopefully putting an end to our recent misfortunes at Goodison and giving us that all important momentum into the last two games.

It's going to go down to the wire...fuck me I'm nervous.

I fully expect Everton's players to turn up and put on a performance to their usual standard and we'll need to be at our best again to get any kind of result.

It's only Everton's fans who give a toss about what Liverpool do, not the players.

Imagine if Everton are given a disputable penalty the entire ground boos in protest. :-)

Take out Dzeko and put in Milner. That's you squad.

All the talk is just crap. Our players will expect the usual very difficult game against Everton. Anyone who thinks different knows nothing about football.

If Baines plays Milner should be one of the first names on the teamsheet

This game is making me loose sleep, other than that random win under Hughes our record at Goodison is terrible. Hopefully our big guns turn up, Toure is normally the man for these occasions.

Don't let us down boys.

Correct and I'm sure our players won't have the same mentality as some on here. One of two think we only need to turn up and it's ours. Don't they ever learn?

Where to watch in New York?

I'm going to be in New York when this game is on. Can anybody recommend a decent sports bar that will be showing the game. Would be good to be with some other blues.....

Ideally somewhere between Times Square and Upper East. After a quick search below are on my short list but any thoughts appreciated.

Whiskey Trader 71 W 55th St
Molly Pitcher's Ale House 1641 2nd Ave 85th Street

Imagine if Everton score and the entire ground boos. How would the goalscorer react?

Imagine if we score and the whole place erupts in celebration [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

I have no doubt their players will be ultra professional but the crowd play a big part in games of football, particularly at grounds like Goodison where the crowd are right on top of the pitch. Even if they're not actively willing us on I'd imagine a fair proportion won't be as vocal or vociferous as usual in their support of the home side. Therefore Everton's players won't get that 5% boost that a noisy crowd can provide and the referee won't feel under as much pressure to award free kicks, etc. This situation certainly won't hurt our chances of getting a rare win there.
