A point at Everton is never bad but Pellers completely mis managed the final minutes with negative substitutes and retreating tactics.
And Mangala is awful

Look at how many Chelsea score from set pieces and then look at us, it's a joke. How can you be as talented as Silva and Nasri and not be able to take a decent free kick from time to time. It just never happens.

I've just been through all ten pages of this thread and no one's mentioned our last minute substitution - can anyone explain this?

Why take off Nasri with only injury time left?

(surely we weren't settling for the draw & looking to run the clock down??)

Page 3.... Crap subs and Nasri strolled off like we were winning

What do you expect when our manager sends in a defender with two or three minutes remaining ? It is understood Pelle was happy with just a point but you still manage to take a dig at Nasri .

Did Nasri stroll off? Maybe he put Kolarov on to drill some balls in?!

His defending of late has been debateable and I prefer him going forward instead

Regardless, a sub with 2 mins of OT remaining is farcical

Disappointing yet again, could of had it wrapped up in the 1st half tbf if we would of taken our chances.

Its concerning how we panic when were in the lead. The amount of good leads we've threw away this season is worrying, probably more than last season.

We need vinnie back quick imo to calm everything down in games like that. A point isnt the worst of outcomes though. Just gonna have to hope chelski drop points again and we have them at there place (which we ARE capable of doing)

We were very good first half and with a fully fit striker I'm pretty sure we would have got the breakthrough. Silva was majestic and it took a half time plan for them to get anywhere near him second half. The two ferns had a good game too and kept Barkley (who isn't a patch on Pogba) completely quiet.

Very disappointing goal to concede, stupid foul from Zaba and a poor decision to come from Hart.. But it was a great cross like Baines. Gave them far too many free-kick opportunities to get a good cross in.

On a negative, Mangala was dreadful second half. Lukaku twisted him twice for his two chances and he was constantly giving the ball away. The sooner
Kompany gets back with Demi the better.

Frustrating game really. 18 shots and 2 on target isn't good enough and we're nowhere near clinical enough without Aguero. Jovetic isn't a striker, Navas needs to hit crosses first time. Hart made a mess, but made a few great saves. Missed Yaya's height on set pieces and his composure on the ball. Silva was just Silva. Unreal!

Arsenal and Chelsea away next in the league though. 4 points minimum really, but we're more than capable of getting that. 2 points behind Chelsea when they're 'running away with the league'. Id take that, Its January 10th!
