I take it you're on about Jovetić? He can't play the role because, despite many people's mistaken view of him, he is not and never will be a striker.

Yep fair one, then may be he should be employed elsewhere, as an exhibitionist, juggling a ball

10 posts in 10 years, and the last two a load of shit. I smell Stretford........

A rag now, coming from somebody who lives in Exeter great, mate I Have been in the arm forces for over 35 yrs and now work in Iraq, Internet is not a given for me however I have been blue since I was 5 yrs old born and bread in Blackley. I don't get all the negativity towards Mangala, I thought he had a decent game. He dealt with Lukaku well considering we had a referee who would allow Lukaku to physically bully Mangala but any hint of physicality back he gave a free kick.

Also, Jovetic is part of our solution going forward not the problem. He is a forward thinking player who wants to attack. If we had an attack minded winger in the mould of Sanchez or Di Maria something which we are craving, he would have a field day. There's not much he can do when our wide men in Nasri and Navas turn back on themselves at every opportunity.

Indeed. I'm not Jovetic's biggest fan, but I thought he was unlucky to get hooked today. Agree completely about Mangala. Considering that wanker Atkinson was blowing up every time a City player made a challenge, I thought Mangler did ok. Fernando was my MotM though. A beast today

Agree about Jo Jo and Manga but not having it that Nando was MotM: that was Silva but Nando was runner-up :-)

2 points dropped based on the gameplay but shouldn't be too disheartened as with a striker we would have won. Considering we have had no direct front man for the last month or so we have done incredibly well me re plying relly well.

If we can just sort out the fuckng corners.

Struggling for goals at the moment....

Not sure why that's a surprise to anyone.

Disappointing to drop points, but it's a long season, and Chelsea are just two points ahead after a period in which we've had some really key players missing.

It's going to take a while to get Aguero back up to speed, but we are looking very strong.

Aguero gets match sharp pretty quickly but was more butter knife than Wilkinson Sword today.

I think some of our 'fans' need to take a long hard look in the mirror, we weren't poor today, we should have won but didn't. No team has the divine right to win every game and Everton are a decent side.

I wouldn't have been unhappy with a point before the match and while it is disappointing to have thrown away the lead, it's not the end of the world, far from it, we may well look upon this result at the end of the season as a point gained.

Maybe a few of you need to pull your heads out of your arses and stop slagging individual players off, we win as a team, we draw and lose as a team, either get behind us or fuck off somewhere your ilk will welcome you, like trafford.

Criticising players will always happen , but why some of our "fans" allude to referring to our players as w*nker/sh*t /c*nt etc.,etc. is beyond me , if a player has played a particularly poor game , then come on here and give an opinion , but dont insult players who are giving 100% to the cause , its embarrassing

Agreed , we have too many that breach the code of conduct.

We lacked the clinical finishing our build up play gave us the opportunities to do and didn't give their keeper who has little premiership experience enough to worry about.

On another day we could have knicked that game and we did enough to get a point but overall a fair away performance against a side who some say should be where Southampton are currently but disappointing not to knick the game especially after taking the lead.

Overall it was a good performance individual error & some awful finishing dropped 2 points. but to have dropped 4 points over the festive period with the striker situation is something I am sure most of us would have took at the time the news broke. It probably adds a bit to the next two games, but given how poor we've been in places this season to only be 2 pts behind at this stage is nothing to be sniffed at.

I honestly thought we were the better team today and unlucky not to win, Bossed the first half fell away in the second but overall a decent performance.

Thought Jovetić and Navas had poor games but don't agree with the criticism of Hart kept us in the game at times, My one major complaint with City at the moment is the amount of stupid free kicks we give away, we have got try and cut that out of our game.

A point at Everton is decent enough in my opinion.

Disappointing to draw after taking the lead so late in the game and considering our recent record at Goodison.
It's a shame all our pressure in the first half couldn't produce a goal and when we finally scored, I thought we'd go on and win the game. Great header from Dinho, but a shame we couldn't build on it and take all three points.

That's the title race over now, I suppose, considering Chelsea won today.

Great to see Sergio back on the field, but he did look a little rusty. I doubt the time he had on the pitch today will do him any harm, though.
