Must admit when I heard him on Sky after the game I thought, 'What. the. fuck?'
I've never heard any other title chasing/winning manager do that.
I don't buy the 'he's taking the heat off the players' excuse either. He is admitting to not preparing his team and also to believing Everton would be easy to beat.
It's not great but 3 points on Saturday is the only way to redeem himself for me.

The truth is more likely that he didn't prepare his team in the right way.
This cute fucking possession-based dreadfully slow passing game isn't working! The other teams have figured us out and we now struggle to score goals. The defence is still looking very solid.
