Seriously, change tactics and get someone on both wings instead of using fullbacks. The rags have Valencia, Nani/Young running at opposition full backs the whole game... we don't give the opposition any problems, the only problem they have is Dzeko who doesn't have much of a choice but sit in the centre surrounded by three players.

There's absolutely no point in having Dzeko stood in the centre with 3 players around him if you're not whipping the ball into him... all his goals at Wolfsburg came from headers so why not play to a style that suits him? Aguero can they play around him with Silva in behind. Got to change tactics or the current form will continue.


We've simply been found out... man on Silva from the whole game and we have very little creativity. Clichy/Kolarov are not as good as Richards when it comes to bombing back and fourth take pressure off them and have just defend or sometimes overlapping a winger.


The only problem that might occur is our lack of wingers.... there's only AJ who isn't exactly setting the world alight. Nasri is better off in the centre and so is Milner.

Not surprised he sees his players booked or sent off for very little every week and the opposition get away with murder, must have a psychological effect.

Typical performance against Everton. They get men behind the ball, defend for their lives, and pretty much every tackle is a borderline foul which we don't get. They are very hard to break down and you have to give them credit for that.
We have to learn to compete physically with teams like this instead of going down easily (Dzeko) or moaning to the ref about their physicality (Kun, Silva, Nasri).

Once they got the goal it was always going to be ten times harder to score, but we only started to move the ball quickly after going a goal down, not good enough.

We have had a lot of bad decisions go against us and with the bans we've had to VK and MB you get the impression that the manager and squad feel like everything is going against them. There's two ways to react to this -get yourself all wound up and lose your grip and concentration -or you get your heads down and not prove to everyone how good you are, and make no mistake we are the best team in the League. But at the moment we're not showing it.

Teams have now sussed out how to play against us,we got away with it early part of the season cos everyone expected the cautious aproach of the previous season.
Dzeko,Nasri,Kolarov,are`nt cutting it at the mo,Aguero is getting the ball everywhere but in the 18 yard box,Lescott is looking slow and making too many mistakes, and Silva has lost that killer ball that was second nature before Christmas.

We have been a boxer on ropes for weeks and like a challenger fighting in the champs backyard, u can't expect to nick the title, u leave nothing to chance and rip it away.

This takes bottle, courage and know how. Tonight, Micah and Milner aside, we don't want it enough.

Sure, lip service will continued to be paid to it, but actions speak louder than words.

Mancini is refusing to learn the lessons from English football-as a result he sends players out with wrong mental approach.

He deserves sack if he comes up short and such is the paucity of united this season, even that might not be enough.

Find it very hard to disagree with any of that. Yaya has been an enormous miss this month in his defence. Still we had a team of players out there tonight who if they had shown any semblance of what it takes would have taken that excuse of an opposition apart.

Not one of our players was willing to run through a brick wall for the cause tonight............very disappointing to say the least.

Sell them both. Dzeko is just shit and Balotelli is not a team player with the way he picks up stupid cards.

I think that the refs lately are under the pay of OT. There have been numerous tackles against our players which have been far worse than Kompany's and they have not even been carded.

You where allowed to get away with two footed tackles, and blatant fouling. We had 2 cert pens denied and a foul given against us whenever we made a tackle.

aj has pulled us out of a few tight games but he has to be the slowest winger in the world. im staggered that he hasn't addressed this problem
