Evidence for religion

Yes. The passages related to Prophet Lot (as) and the destruction of Sodom are not allegorical.
It shouldn't be that much of a problem really. There is space for co-existence even in a theocratic state. We are all sinners and God hasn't given any believer the right to judge others.
But he has given them the right to kill them?

Those passages are made up, by the way.

No, He is omnipotent.
[Q 46:33] ....Yes. Indeed, He is over all things competent.

Yes, but He'll recompense them in the AfterLife
[Q 3:195] And their Lord responded to them, "Never will I allow to be lost the work of [any] worker among you, whether male or female; you are of one another. So those who emigrated or were evicted from their homes or were harmed in My cause or fought or were killed - I will surely remove from them their misdeeds, and I will surely admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow as reward from Allah, and Allah has with Him the best reward."

[Q 2:216]…But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not.

Evil comes from His creation.
[Q 113:1-2] Say, ‘I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak, from the evil of that which He created
So he controls over all life but allows evil to persist, something which he created? Then he is malevolent.

Why follow a malevolent, vengeful god? Out of fear, not out of love.

Just cos you quote shit from a book wrote eons ago, don't make it true. You could quote stuff from Harry Potter that would have more credibility.
There's more proof for the existence of the soup dragon than there is for the psycho you believe in.

No. If there was it would've been mentioned. The punishment is derived from secondary sources and scholars have different opinion, along with conditions of 4 witnesses (which probably means it has become public). As far as I'm aware there are lots of homosexuals in Saudi Arabia and they're not killed.

They're just not allowed to announce it publicly, engage in public acts of affection with a partner, become wed in the eyes of god, have open relationships...

Watch the Brian Cox series “The Planets”.

The fact our planet is like it is today is a pure accident.

However don’t ask me what else is out there and is it limitless, I haven’t got a bloody clue.

It's not evil if it is something that helps the person in the Eternal Hereafter. If God intervened in every instance, there would be no 'free will'. And God cannot be blamed for the free-willed actions of people.
