F!!**?* Magpies

Train the cat then send the cat up to destroy it.

Job done.

The magpies would destroy the cat. Once witnessed a cat climbing a silver birch tree. There must have been a nest as a group of magpies were dive bombing the cat while squarking. The cat looked terrified.

Decide to welcome them rather than try to get rid. Spend some time finding what they're all about. Go and buy £100 worth of magpie food, some magpie friendly tree boxes and a camera with a telescopic zoom so you can take some pics of your new friends.

You can guarantee that you'll never see one again.

I say shoot them. If for no other reason than it'll infuriate Mad Eyed Screamer.
Haha he would go a bit barmy wouldnt he, most probably come around our flat and threaten to shoot me!!

Dont know whats happened in last couple of hours, went docs with wife came back and they have stopped screaching and flying around like demented demons, it has been snowing heavy in Urmston for 2 hrs though, perhaps that has calmed them down

They do that after mating so expect between 5 and 8 lovely loud magpies in couple of months time.

Enjoy

Oh I nearly forgot more than likely they are a new couple and if they bring up their brood successfully they'll return each year, if not most likely another pair will spot the already built nest do some running repairs and have a brood of their own.

I'll look for the bump this time next year ;0)

I'd be filming that shit if he decides to climb up. It has hilarious accident written all over it.

I know it might drive you mad OP, but the cold hard truth is that humans don't get to decide where birds make their home or where Nature flexes its whim. Slugs drove me to near sadism last year after they wrought havoc in the garden. Then one of my tutors remarked that I didn't so much have a slug problem as a frog deficiency. I built a little pond, cut a small hole in my back fence and voilà. Frogs galore and fewer slugs.

So all he needs to do is encourage falcons into his garden.
