F5 Skybox, where can I get one?

Had one since August, cant fault it to be fair, all the channels inc pay per view etc.
Got sick of paying sky prices too.

Stupid question but does this include box office boxing etc?

Getting mine this week an can't wait. My Sky subsription gets cut off today after 7 years of paying full price.

Quick question, i've been offered a number of different boxes - I just want one that easy to use/set up etc and can record progreammes. Is the Skybox the best one or are alternatives that are better?

Skybox/openbox are cheap and chearful and in my experience the tuners are pants (going off my starter box 12 month or so ago) and glitch far to often. the epg is dreadful and the recording feature nearly useless.

The VU+ range are very popular with plug ins galore but the trade off is they are not grandad friendly :) meaning you couldn't out of the box set them up if you had no experience, that said you don't need to be nasa trained and can pick up the basics in a couple of hours with a little prior computer knowledge.

Ha, that makes no sence at all to me. Basically I am looking for something that shows 3pm kick offs, uk sky channels and if poss record, pause etc and ideally without a motorised dish.

These are a decent, cheaper alternative with plenty of support:

Just need a dish with a motor then to make full use of it (and of course a server to connect to).
