FA Cup Final - Post Game thread

I thought the first minute one was the stonewaller.

The one in the second half, Haaland was grabbing Mainoo too and they generally never get given.
for the first one haaland had no need to go down as he was absolutely nailed on to score, fuck knows what Mr Magoo on var saw

Poor team selection from Pep ( Stones,Doku etc) - shades of brain farts CL2021 and first half vs Villa 2022 final game.
Gifted them the first goal.
Poor finishing from Alvarez.
Unlucky Haaland hit the bar.
We were poor but still the better side. Utd deserved it as the underdogs although they were extremely lucky to even be in the final.
Should not have been out on the lash on Sunday because although it probably didn't make any difference it invites the questions if you lose which of course will now happen.
Agree with all of this apart from the inviting questions bit. Anyone asking questions doesn't understand how much this team is on top of when to relax and when to focus. It was a bad day for the manager and a few players didn't show up to dig him out. It's a blip and nothing more.

I don’t think Sunday was the problem, more like Wednesday, three days before the final.

Far from it , but if i was going to lose either the title or the FA Cup its a no brainer , was at the Wigan game when we lost under Mancini and that was horrible day , so i feel sorry for all our fans today , they were let down but Pep will be preparing for another tilt next season
What a fucking horrible day that was, cold, pissed it down and then to concede in the last minute. their fans were a right bunch of cunts, especially at the M6 Toll services before the game, I was with my daughter else would have got involved.

I know for a fact from a family member that works there that some city players were pissed as fuck at 5am on Wednesday morning.

Can't do that.

Why not wait until next week??

Arrogant thinking they just had to turn up.
I said this...

A lot looked post drink lethargic..

I know I've done it.
Spot it a mile away.

Pep should never have let them have 3 days off..
Do your celebrating after the cup final..
Fucks sake your multi millionaires it's not like your missing out on something.

The second one was 100% a penalty , he was hauled to the ground but we cannot blame that for the defeat we were just off the pace with several players well below our very high standards.
We could if they should've been awarded. Too late now but there aught to have been more scrutiny over them.

But we won the title already so it's a pointless comparison.

Both of Haaland's penalty appeals were reviewed and overruled, immediately.
Funny that.
Same with their first goal. If we score a goal like that it’s watched over and over from different angles in slow motion looking for a reason to chalk it off then the dodgy lines come out. It loooked close to me but they only looked once and from one angle

So everyone is a rag who shares an observation I'm not the first to point that issue out. BTW I've been following city since the sixties so I'm entitled to my opinion tosser!
Made up, you're a rag for sure.

Sorry guys why did pep tinker with the side again
Changed centre backs and didn't include docku
The second half total control missed chances
Don't understand it

Very funny the media trying to paint this as a ten hair masterplan. They got a fluke of a goal and one decent move and that was it, then sit back and pray and hope Citys players hangover prevents City hammering them.

As soon as I saw them all steaming Sunday/Monday I knew it was curtains for us. A long old season and that sense of job done after West Ham made the players complacent.

I don’t think a night out to celebrate 4-in-a-row made the difference but I do think the Herculean effort to win the league took a lot out of them.
