Anticipation is rising ahead of City’s first FA Cup Final since 1981, tickets for which will go on sale to Seasoncard holders with more than 5,000 loyalty points from Thursday 28 April 2011.
The match against Stoke City in the FA Cup sponsored by E.ON, will take place on Saturday, 14 May with a kick-off time of 3pm. The club has received an allocation of 25,000 tickets in the West End of Wembley Stadium.

Five categories of match ticket are available to purchase, priced as follows:

Category Price
(Adult) Price
(Under 16 & Over 65)
Category 1 £115 £105
Category 2 £85 £75
Category 3 £65 £55
Category 4 £45 £35
Disabled £45 (plus free Assistant)

Tickets will be made available to Seasoncard holders based on loyalty point status. We would also like to reward Seasoncard holders who are active members of the Cup Games Direct scheme for the FA Cup, supporting the team throughout this season’s competition. These supporters will have the opportunity to purchase a ticket for the Final from Tuesday 3 May (unless they qualify earlier by having the requisite loyalty points) when the selling criteria reaches 3,500 loyalty points.

Tickets are strictly limited and will be available on a one ticket per qualifying supporter basis. Tickets are non-transferable. If the Supporter Number used is that of an Adult, then only an Adult ticket may be purchased. This also applies to Under 16’s and Over 65’s. Supporters must be in possession of their valid Seasoncard at the time of purchase. Under no circumstance will tickets be sold to supporters without production of a valid Seasoncard.

Subject to availability, tickets will be available by telephone on 0870 062 1894 (option 1) and to personal callers at the Stadium Box Office for supporters that meet the criteria below. Qualifying loyalty points will be taken as those held on the respective supporter’s file at 9am on Tuesday 26 April 2011.

Tickets available to: Date
Seasoncard holders with 5,000 loyalty points or more Thursday 28 April 2011
Seasoncard holders with 4,250 loyalty points or more Saturday 30 April 2011
Seasoncard holders with 3,750 loyalty points or more Monday 2 May 2011
Seasoncard holders with 3,500 loyalty points or more** Tuesday 3 May 2011
Seasoncard holders with 3,250 loyalty points or more Wednesday 4 May 2011

** And any Seasoncard holder who is actively registered on the Cup Games Direct scheme for the FA Cup competition, regardless of loyalty point status.

Should tickets remain, further selling criteria will be announced. 20 loyalty points will be awarded for this match.

The Stadium Box Office and telephone sales lines will be open from 9am – 5:30pm Monday to Saturday and from 11am – 5pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays (please note we will be opening from 9am – 5:30pm on Friday 29 April – Royal Wedding Day).

Tickets purchased over the telephone will be subject to a £2.00 booking fee per ticket and a Special Delivery charge of £5.26 and tickets will be posted to the registered address of each individual supporter.

The following groups will receive an allocation of tickets for this match: Supporters, Seasonal Hospitality Supporters, Owner, Board of Directors, Football Management, Players, Club Officials and Staff, Former Players, Club Partners and the MCFC Supporters Club.

Buying tickets for other supporters

We are aware that some groups of supporters with different numbers of loyalty points would like to purchase tickets together for this match.

In an attempt to support this, the following process will apply:

The minimum number of supporters that qualify as a group is four, the maximum number who qualify as a group is six. Supporters wishing to purchase together as a group must be in possession of Seasoncards which are located in the same area (i.e. Stand/Level/Block) at the City of Manchester Stadium. Appropriate checks will be carried out at the Point of Sale.
A group of supporters may purchase final tickets together as soon as 50% of the supporters have the requisite number of loyalty points, as long as all supporters have 4,000 points or more. Where a group consists of five supporters, three supporters must qualify to purchase in their own right with the remaining two supporters meeting the minimum requirement of 4,000 points.
For those supporters on the 2010/11 FA Cup Games Direct Scheme who will directly benefit from having an accelerated purchase process, it is important to note that should they wish to sit with fellow supporters who are not active members of the FA Cup Games Direct Scheme, they can only purchase together when other Seasoncard holders within the group are eligible to purchase in their own right.

Any one supporter can purchase up to six tickets, using valid, qualifying Seasoncards. To purchase tickets on behalf of other supporters, the buying supporter must be in possession of each of the respective cards at the time of booking and be prepared to answer a number of security questions relating to each of the card holders including date of birth, postcode and card number.

Junior Seasoncard holder

We also appreciate that there may be a significant difference in loyalty points between Junior supporters (under the age of 16) and their parent(s) or guardian(s). A limited allocation of tickets will be made available to Junior Seasoncard holders for purchase together with a qualifying Adult Seasoncard holder. At the point where the Adult qualifies, they can also purchase one Junior ticket regardless of the Junior’s loyalty point status.

Beamback

The game will be shown live on big screens in City Square at the City of Manchester Stadium – further details to follow on www.mcfc.co.uk

Re: FA CUP FINAL TICKET CRTERIA

I cannot stress how quick this process is. It takes no longer than it has taken to read this sentence.

As aptly summed up by Number # 54 (Paul McCarney) "If we do not keep within our traditions, then what sets us apart from everybody else?"

Please, please sign.
